Mission Statement
The deputies of the Tooele County Sheriff's Department are committed to excellence in law enforcement and are dedicated to the people, traditions and diversity of our county. In order to protect life and property, prevent crime and reduce the fear of crime, we will provide service with understanding, response with compassion, performance with integrity and law enforcement with vision.
Uniform Services:
The Patrol Division conducts duties around the clock to ensure safety and serve the community. The Division is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service which consist of investigating crimes, investigating traffic accidents, traffic control, apprehending offenders and meeting the needs of the citizens and business owners of Tooele County.

The Sheriff's Office is responsible for providing 24-hour law enforcement presence throughout the 7,000 square mile jurisdiction.
Each shift is commanded by a sergeant and all crews work 12-hour shifts.
