Tooele County Clerk's Office
The Tooele County Clerk's office is responsible for business licenses, elections, voter registration, marriage licenses, passports the recording and transcription of the Board of Commissioners public meetings, contracts, liability insurance, record management and risk management for the County.
Business License - All business licenses expire June 30. Business licenses must be renewed prior to the June 30 expiration date. Click here for Online Business License Renewal.
Board of Commissioners Public Meetings - Regular meetings are held by the Tooele County Board of Commissioners on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 3:00 p.m. in the Tooele County Building, 47 South Main, Room 310.
Election Information - Voter registration information, polling locations, key dates for upcoming elections can be found by clicking on Election Information.
Liability Insurance - Process liability claims involving county property.
Marriage - Marriage Licenses are issued 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The office is closed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and all legal holidays. The marriage license application can be completed on-line. Print the application on white 8 1/2 x 11 paper and take the application to the Clerk's office. Do not sign the application until you appear before the Clerk.
Passport Information - Applications are processed 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The office is closed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and all legal holidays. Passport pictures can be taken in the Clerk's office for $10.00.
Records Manager - Manage GRAMA (Government Records Access and Management Act) requests.
Risk Management - Manage Risk Management Program for county including Accident Review Committee.
