The Planning and Zoning Division serves present and future residents of Tooele County, striving to make it a better place to live, work, and play.  As an innovative planning team we work to establish sound land use planning practices and provide community leadership while advancing community goals.  We facilitate community involvement and interaction of residents, property and business owners, staff, appointed and elected officials and the development community to ensure that growth and development are consistent with community desires as identified in the Tooele County General Plan.  We plan to achieve community confidence through a sharing of community responsibility, reporting community progress and managing orderly growth.

The Planning and Zoning Division is committed to providing accurate, friendly and timely customer service.  Staff is further guided by a desire to serve the County and its residents with the highest professional and ethical standards.  Staff is available to answer general planning and site-specific questions either by phone or at our office.  If you have any questions regarding our division or any of the services we provide, please feel free to contact us.
