Hilda
Erickson Cabin
This
cabin is important to Tooele County history because it was the home
of Hilda Erickson, the last survivor of 80,000 pioneers who crossed
the plains prior to 1869 by handcart or wagon. She died in 1968
at the age of 108. Hildas monument is featured on the cover
of this book and stands in front of Grantsville City Hall.
