Tooele County will Challenge Board's Order - The Tooele County Commission has retained Alan Sullivan, of Snell & Wilmer, to continue their legal battle with Rocky Mountain Power.  Tooele County continues to object to RMP's proposed "southeast bench route."  Tooele County will see a "stay" of the Utah Facility Review Board's Order (directing the County to approve RMP's conditional use permit) pending the Court's consideration of the County's appeal in this matter.

Tooele County, Tooele City and Grantsville City Officials all agreed that a legal challenge to the Facility Review Board's Order should be pursued.  In discussions about whether or not to continue the legal challenge, the County Commissioners and Mayors all agreed that as elected officials they wouldn't be doing their jobs if they didn't continue to fight to protect the southeast bench.

Tooele County remains hopeful that a win-win compromise can be reached with RMP.
