13-1-2. Purpose .

The purpose of this title is to provide policies, standards, requirements, and procedures to regulate and control the design and improvement of all subdivisions; ensure that all subdivisions are consistent with the general plan and applicable specific plans; and to ensure that land is subdivided in a manner that will promote public health, safety, convenience, general welfare and the physical, social, and economic development of the area.
