13-5-2. Approval process .

(1) A major subdivision shall be processed in three stages:

(a) the concept stage, which will go to a planning commission public hearing where the planning commission shall take public comment, discuss and review the application, and then move the application to the public meeting to make a decision to approve or deny the application;

(b) the design stage, unless the application includes a multiple unit residential structure, or commercial or industrial development, in which case the planning commission shall hold a public hearing, the application will go to a planning commission work meeting where the planning commission shall discuss and review the application and then it will be placed on the planning commission public meeting agenda for a decision to approve or deny; and

(c) the final plat, which will be placed on the planning commission public meeting agenda where it shall make a decision to approve or deny. If approved the chair shall sign the plat. If signed, the plat shall be recorded within 30 days or it shall be void. (Ref UCA §17-27a-103, 17-27a-207, 17-27a-603, 17-27a-604, Ord.2005-21, 09/6/05)
