9-3-16. Unlawful purchase or consumption by minors.

(1) It is unlawful for any person under the age of 21 years to purchase, possess, or consume any alcoholic beverage or product, unless specifically authorized by law.

(2) It is unlawful for any person under the age of 21 years to misrepresent their age, or for any other person to misrepresent the age of a minor, for the purpose of purchasing or otherwise obtaining an alcoholic beverage or product for a minor. (Ord. 02-16, 7/2/02)
