What is Tooele County Youth Services?
Tooele County Youth Services is dedicated to
providing safety and support to youth and families experiencing crisis.
Youth Services collaborates with Law Enforcement, Juvenile Court, School Districts, and other community agencies to provide services and support to youth and families.
Through an assessment and referral process, families are provided with information and resources to assist with difficulties they may be experiencing.
Resources include services offered at Youth Services, as well as other agencies in the community.
How Can Youth Services Help Me and My Family?
Youth and families experience many types of crisis and hardship
that may be addressed at Youth Services.
Some of these include:
- Ungovernable behavior
- School truancy issues
- Anger management
- Family conflict
- Delinquent behavior
Referrals may be given for:
- Mental health issues
- Drug an alcohol use
Counseling Services
Tooele County Youth Services provides:
- Short term (60-day) individual and family counseling
- Crisis counseling for ungovernable youth (ages 8-17) and their parents
- Consultations
- Referral to other community agencies
- All services are FREE of charge
